Below is a list of available jobs for your character, separated by department. There are short descriptions by each job (but that doesn't mean that all they do, just their main job). All jobs are full-time for the characters, but there is one exception.

Jobs with an asterisk (*) by them means that the job is child-friendly, and reserved mainly for those whom decide to app in children that would only have part-time positions, and also attend the World Mart classes. An adult character can be in these job slots as well, but they are mainly for children characters because they don't require too much manual labor and the tasks are easy enough to accomplish. Please pick another job if at all possible for adult characters, unless you are just dead-set on that job. For children characters wanting a different job, please state why you want that job for your character.

REMEMBER, once you pick a job, your character is stuck with it unless an IN GAME change is made, or they get promoted, etc.


General Departments
Ѫ Sales Associate/Cashier - Run the cash registers at the front of the store/check-out
Ѫ Greeter* - Greet people at the door/pass out baskets, carts, fliers.
Ѫ Bagger* - Assist cashier in bagging groceries during busy hours/large transactions
Ѫ Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Focus on returns, exchanges, customer complaints
Ѫ Night Stocker - Restock store during early morning hours and light customer traffic.
Ѫ Floor Representative* - Travel entire sales floor and tidy up various departments/assist customers who have questions/return abandoned carts to entrance

Food Service
Ѫ Baker - Work in the Bakery department and bake (weird) stuff.
Ѫ Butcher - Work in the Meat/Seafood department and butcher (strange) stuff!
Ѫ Produce Assistant* - Water produce. Remove spoiled produce. Feed alien produce.
Ѫ Cafe Associate* - Work at World Mart Cafe. Serve drinks, food, bus tables when customers finish dining. Run register.
Ѫ Chef - Work in World Mart Cafe. Prepare and cook food to be served.

Specialty Departments
Ѫ Pharmacy Specialist - Sort medication, fill prescriptions, etc.
Ѫ Doctor - Work in Pharmacy Department as a doctor. (note: CHARACTER MUST BE A DOCTOR/MEDIC/HEALER/ETC)
Ѫ Optometrist - Work in Optometry Department. Eye appointments, etc.
Ѫ Hairstylist - Work in World Mart Salon. Wash, cut, and style hair.
Ѫ Nail Technician - Work in World Mart Salon. Do nails.
Ѫ Tech Specialist - Work in electronics Department. Assist in fixing/troubleshooting electronics.
Ѫ Fashion Consultant - Work in Clothing Department. Dress mannequins. Manage changing rooms and assist customers. Tidy departments.
Ѫ Garden Associate* - Work in Gardening Department. Water/Feed plants (literally in some cases). Run register.
Ѫ Florist* - Work in Floral department. Water flowers. Arrange bouquets.
Ѫ Teller - Work in World Mart Bank. Exchange currency, hand out money when people wanna cash their checks, deposits etc.
Ѫ Veterinarian - Work in World Mart Pet Store. See to and take care of a large variety of animals. ( note: CHARACTER MUST HAVE ANIMAL CARE EXPERIENCE)
Ѫ Pet Groomer* - Work in World Pet Store. Wash, groom, and play with pets. Light cleaning duties.

Store Maintenance
Ѫ Custodian - Sweep and mop main sales floor. Dust shelves. Clean windows and bathrooms.
Ѫ Security Guards - Guard store parking lot, patrol sales floor.
Ѫ Maintenance Associate - Assist in store maintenance from lighting problems, broken bulbs, plumbing work, collapsed shelves, broken freezers, etc.

Management Positions
Management positions can only be given to a character IN GAME by World Mart Management. More information on climbing that corporate ladder can be found in the Gameplay section.
